Lagundi is a dance of the old folks of Tigbauan long ago, which they created to tell about the lagundi plant that they used as medicine. In the first part of the dance, the male dancer limped and dragged his foot because it is painful and aching due to rheumatism. In the second part of the dance, his steps were lively and graceful because his illness was relieved after he was treated by his female partner with lagundi drink, massage and poultice.
